Turkey Jack Appetizers (Mini Monte Cristos)

  1. Evenly divide the ham, turkey and jack cheese among 8 slices of bread.
  2. Top with remaining 8 slices of bread, making 8 sandwiches.
  3. Cut each sandwiches into four squares or triangles.
  4. In a shallow dish combine eggs, milk and flour.
  5. Beat well.
  6. Heat oil to 375 degrees in large skillet to about 1/2 inch depth.
  7. Fry sandwiches, a few at a time, about 1 minute each side, until golden brown.
  8. Drain on paper towels.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with sides of sour cream and preserves.
