Bread Flour Pancakes
- 1 egg Egg
- 225 grams Milk
- 30 grams Sugar
- 10 grams Vegetable oil
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 few drops Vanilla extract
- 200 grams Bread (strong) flour
- 10 grams Baking powder
- On April 16, 2012, I modified one part of this recipe.
- Rather than specifying the size of the egg, I added it to the net weight of the milk.
- Warm up your frying pan, and while you wait, prepare a dampened towel.
- In a bowl, break the egg and pour in milk until the combined weight is 225 g.
- Next add all the ingredients marked with a and mix well with a whisk.
- Next sift the flour and the baking powder into the bowl.
- With the whisk, lift from the bottom and let it drop back down into the mixture.
- Do this about 8 times making large, gentle movements.
- The goal is to not mix it too much.
- Next, place the hot frying pan on the wrung out towel, and when it has cooled a bit pour in the batter.
- Once both sides are cooked, it's done.
- The pancakes have a soft, fluffy texture and are really smooth.
- Look at how thick these are.
- With ham, cheese and a fried egg on top.
- With sliced cheese and mascarpone.
