Southern Pulled Pork

  1. For the pork: Put pork in a slow cooker.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all remaining marinade ingredients.
  3. Pour over the pork, rubbing in.
  4. Cover and cook on medium for 8 hours.
  5. When done, shred the meat with a couple of forks.
  6. Add sauce and mix until well combined.
  7. Serve with warm buns and your favourite fixings.
  8. For the sauce: Whisk together all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring often.
  9. Once smooth, remove from heat and cool until ready.
