Chicken Casserole
- 2 c. chopped cooked chicken or turkey
- 1 c. mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
- 1 undiluted can cream of chicken soup
- 1 undiluted can cream of mushroom soup
- 4 chopped hard cooked eggs
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. toasted slivered almonds
- 1 medium minced onion
- 2/3 c. cracker crumbs
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
- chopped parsley and paprika
- Mix all ingredients, no special order, except almonds, parsley and paprika.
- Put in large buttered casserole.
- Top with chopped parsley, paprika and toasted almonds.
- Bake at 350u0b0 until mixture is bubbly.
- Peas should be crisp.
- Great for buffet crowd.
- Serves 8 to 10.
