Bacon-Mushroom Sauce with A.1. Steak Sauce

  1. Cook bacon in large skillet on medium heat until crisp.
  2. Remove bacon from skillet, reserving 1/2 cup of the bacon drippings (or 2 Tbsp.
  3. of the drippings for trial recipe) in skillet.
  4. Drain bacon on paper towels.
  5. Meanwhile, add mushrooms to reserved bacon drippings in skillet; saute on medium heat 4 min.
  6. or until mushrooms are tender.
  7. Chop bacon.
  8. Add to skillet along with the steak sauce, beef broth, sherry and brown sugar; stir until well blended.
  9. Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  10. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 6 to 8 min.
  11. or until sauce is slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
  12. Keep warm.
  13. Serve spooned over cooked steaks and burgers.
