Tacos Con Carne Recipe

• 2 tbsp. oil
• 1 lg. onion, finely minced
• 1 pound grnd beef, grnd twice
• 1 pound can kidney beans, liquid removed and mashed
• 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
• 1 tbsp. chili pwdr
• Salt, pepper
• 1 pkg. tortillas
• Shredded lettuce
• Minced tomatoes
• Shredded cheese
• Taco sauce

1. Heat oil and saute/fry onion till golden brown.
2. Add in meat and saute/fry till brown.
3. Stir in mashed beans, tomato sauce, chili pwdr, salt and pepper to taste.
4. Heat till sauce is thick.
5. Spread by tablespoonfuls on tortillas and heat in 350 degree oven briefly till warmed.
6. Fill with desired fillings.
