Pasta with Easy Vodka Sauce
- 1/2 cups Butter
- 1 whole Onion, Diced
- 1 cup Vodka
- 2 cans (14.5 Oz. Can) Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Basil
- 1 teaspoon Oregano
- 1 pinch Rosemary
- 1 pint Heavy Cream
- Your Favorite Pasta
- In a skillet over medium heat, saute onion in butter until slightly brown and soft.
- Pour in vodka and let cook for 10 minutes.
- Mix in crushed tomatoes, sugar, basil, oregano, and rosemary and cook for 30 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and cook for another 30 minutes.
- Allow to cool slightly.
- Transfer to a blender and puree until smooth.
- Serve over your favorite pasta.
