Grand Marnier Souffle Recipe
- 4 scoops pastry cream
- 2 egg yolks
- 5 egg whites
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 c. Grand Marnier
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Sprinkle inside of buttered 8 inch souffle dish with sugar to coat bottom and sides; shake off extra.
- In a bowl, combine pastry cream and egg yolks.
- Whisk well and add in liquor.
- Beat egg whites till they start to stand in peaks.
- Gradually beat in 2 tsp.
- of sugar.
- Beat 1/2 the whites into the souffle mix.
- Gently mix in remaining whites.
- Spoon mix into prepared dish.
- Place in oven and bake for about 15 min or possibly till puffed and brown on top.
- Remove from oven.
- Dust top of souffle with powdered sugar.
- Serve with Grand Marnier sauce.
- Serves 4.
