Grand Marnier Souffle Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Sprinkle inside of buttered 8 inch souffle dish with sugar to coat bottom and sides; shake off extra.
  3. In a bowl, combine pastry cream and egg yolks.
  4. Whisk well and add in liquor.
  5. Beat egg whites till they start to stand in peaks.
  6. Gradually beat in 2 tsp.
  7. of sugar.
  8. Beat 1/2 the whites into the souffle mix.
  9. Gently mix in remaining whites.
  10. Spoon mix into prepared dish.
  11. Place in oven and bake for about 15 min or possibly till puffed and brown on top.
  12. Remove from oven.
  13. Dust top of souffle with powdered sugar.
  14. Serve with Grand Marnier sauce.
  15. Serves 4.
