Curried Tuna Slice
- 4 sheets frozen pastry dough, thawed
- 425 g tuna, drained & flaked
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 13 cup spring onion, chopped
- 12 cup celery, finely chopped
- 3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 12 cup cottage cheese
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 12 teaspoon garam masala
- beaten egg, for glaze
- Using 2 sheets of pastry, line a lightly greased 28cm x 18cm slice tin.
- Combine remaining ingredients and spoon into pastry-lined tin, pressing down well.
- Using remaining pastry, cover the filling, trim edges and crimp.
- Use the pastry scraps to decorate the top.
- Glaze & cut a vent in pastry top.
- Bake in a moderate oven for 35 mins or until golden brown.
- Can be served hot or cold.
