Mexican Chef's Salad

  1. Brown ground beef, together with beans & salt for about 10 minutes.
  2. Drain and cool completely.
  3. Toss together lettuce, onion, cheese, Catalina dressing, hot sauce (optional), and tomato wedges, reserving some tomato for garnish.
  4. Just prior to serving, lightly toss the meat mixture in with the lettuce mix, along with the Fritos and avocados, reserving a few avocado slices for garnish.
  5. Serve with fresh French garlic bread--yum!
