Homemade Pizza Sauce
- 1/2 whole Yellow Onion
- 1/4 cups Olive Oil
- 16 ounces, fluid Can Crushed Tomatoes
- 6 ounces, fluid Can Tomato Paste
- 1/2 whole Red Bell Pepper, Seeds And Stem Removed
- 3 Tablespoons Honey
- 4 sprigs Chopped Fresh Oregano
- 8 whole Chopped Basil Leaves
- 2 Tablespoons Minced Garlic
- 1/4 cups Black Olive Juice (or Water)
- Dice the yellow onion.
- Fry the diced onion in a couple of tablespoons of hot olive oil until caramelized.
- Place all ingredients into a food processor and puree slowly.
- It is perfectly safe to taste sauce uncooked since its made of just garden fresh ingredients.
- Make sure it has enough salt to enhance the other flavors in the sauce.
- Spread on top of pizza crust, cover with mozzarella cheese and your favorite toppings!
- Bake for about a half an hour or until done.
