Sausage Skillet Medley Recipe
- 1 pound sweet Italian sausage
- 1/2 pound frankfurters
- 1 pound (1 can) whole white onions, liquid removed
- 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms
- 1 green pepper, cut in strips
- 8 cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Cut sausage and frankfurters in 1 inch chunks.
- In large skillet, saute/fry sausage for about 10 min.
- Add in frankfurters and saute/fry 5 more min.
- Stir in reserved mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes and seasonings.
- Cook and stir for 8 min or possibly till vegetables are warm.
- Serves 8 to 10 as appetizer.
- Can serve from skillet with toothpicks.
