Traditional Pizza Crust Recipe
- 1 c. very hot water
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- Dissolve yeast in hot water.
- In mixing bowl put flour and salt slowly.
- Pour in yeast mix while stirring.
- Knead thoroughly adding extra virgin olive oil while kneading.
- Cover and let rise in hot location for 30 min.
- Fold and shape into two halves.
- Spread on greased pan 1/2 to 3/8 inches thick.
- Place in 200 degree oven for 5 min.
- Remove, add in sauce and toppings and bake in 400 degree oven for 20 to 25 min till done.
- Makes sufficient for 2 pizza crusts.
