Low-Fat Teriyaki Potatoes
- 1 1/2 lb. new potatoes (about 10) or about 5 medium red potatoes
- 1 Tbsp. margarine, cut into pieces
- 1 Tbsp. teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
- dash of black pepper
- dash of red pepper
- fresh snipped rosemary (optional)
- Scrub potatoes.
- Cut new potatoes into quarters or the medium potatoes into 1-inch pieces.
- Place the potatoes in a 1 1/2-quart microwave-safe casserole.
- Add the margarine, teriyaki sauce, garlic salt, Italian seasoning and black and red pepper; toss to combine.
- Cover and cook on High for 12 to 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender, stirring twice during the cooking.
- Stir again before serving.
- Garnish with the rosemary, if desired.
- May be served as is or with nonfat sour cream.
- Serves 5.
- Contains 155 calories and 2 grams fat per serving.
