I Love My Husband Chocolate Pie
- 1 pie shell
- 1 (14 ounce) can condensed milk
- 23 cup water
- 1 (3 1/2 ounce) Jell-O chocolate pudding and pie filling
- 1 (1 ounce) unsweetened chocolate square, chopped
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream, stiffly whipped
- In large saucepan, combine condensed milk, water (measure, then use it to rise out milk can) and COOK AND SERVE- NOT INSTANT!
- pudding mix.
- Mix well.
- Add chocolate.
- Over medium heat, cook and stir rapidly until chocolate melts and mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat, beat until smooth.
- Cover with plastic wrap to prevent skin forming.
- Chill thoroughly!
- Stir again, and fold in whipped cream.
- Pour into cooked pastry shell, chill 4 hours until set.
- NOTE: "cooking" time is really chilling time.
