Southwest Turkey Sliders with Chipotle Mayo

  1. For the burgers: Chop your garlic and veggies.
  2. Soak the bread in the milk for a few minutes to allow absorption.
  3. Combine turkey meat, milk soaked bread, garlic, shallot or onion, thyme, parsley, bell pepper, jalapeno pepper, cumin, hot tobasco sauce, salt and pepper.
  4. Mix until well combined.
  5. Divide mixture into 12 equal amounts then form meat into patties.
  6. Cook in a skillet over medium high heat for 5 to 6 minutes on each side.
  7. While burgers are cooking toast buns and set aside.
  8. Place sliced cheese over the patties in the last 2 minutes of cooking, use 1 or 2 slices for each patty, as you like.
  9. Spread top of buns with chipotle mayo.
  10. Place cooked cheeseburgers into buns.
  11. Set red leaf lettuce on top of burgers with red onion.
  12. For the chipotle mayo: In a small bowl combine mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, chipotle, chili sauce, cumin, and cilantro, and season with salt and pepper
