cheesy tater-tot casserole
- 1 lb hamburger meat
- 1 medium onion
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 lb breakfast tater tots
- 1 can Cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
- 1 can Pork and beans or baked beans
- 4 tbsp Your favorite spaghetti sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 pinch salt & pepper to taste
- 1 cup sharp cheddar sheese
- 1 pinch All seasoning salt to taste
- preheat oven to 350
- brown hamburger meat and chopped onion
- add ur minced garlic about 5mins before the meat is done.
- Drain and return to pan.
- In the mean time while ur meat is cooking, spray a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray
- place a few tater tots at the bottom of ur pan.
- You don't need to use a lot, just enough to coat the pan but still having plenty of gaps.
- mix together the remaining ingredients in with ur meat expect the cheese!
- Feel free to taste and go, as u may want to add extra seasonings or less.
- poor the meat mixer on top of the tots, spread out evenly!
- add cheese on top, whatever works for you.
- Some like a lot, and some prefer very little.
- place the remaining tots on top of the cheese and baked for an hr
- Once your timer goes off, add a little extra cheese and put back in the oven until melted.
- Maybe 2 or 3 mins tops!
- For people that don't like cream of mushroom, I am sure cream of chicken would work as well.
- I hope everyone enjoys this as much as we have.
- It is not normal for my whole family to enjoy dinner together.
- Usually there is at least 1 who doesn't but not in this case ;-)
