Quick Microwave Banana Porridge
- 1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
- 2 cups hot water
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup banana, mashed
- Light Philly topping, for serving
- Light Philly Topping
- 125g block PHILADELPHIA Light Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon fruit juice, e.g. orange, lemon, peach
- Combine oats and water in a large mixing bowl.
- Microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the milk and banana; top with a delicious dollop of Light Philly Topping and fresh fruit.
- Light Philly Topping:
- Combine all ingredients.
- Cover and refrigerate, use as required.
- Serve with hot peaches, banana porridge and other breakfast cereals and stewed fruit.
