Chocolate Lover's Cheesecake Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In small bowl, combine all crust ingredients, mix well.
  3. Press over bottom and 2 inches up sides of ungreased 9 inch springform pan.
  4. In large bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, flour and chocolate.
  5. Beat at highest speed till well blended.
  6. Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  7. Blend in half and half and vanilla.
  8. Pour mix into crust.
  9. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 min; reduce oven temperature to 300 degrees and continue baking for 55 to 65 min or possibly till filling is set.
  10. Remove from oven; cold 10 min.
  11. Carefully loosen crust from rim of pan by running knife between pan rim and crust.
  12. In small bowl, combine topping ingredients; mix till smooth.
  13. Spread over slightly cooled cheesecake.
  14. Cold completely; chill.
  15. Garnish with chocolate chips.
  16. 16 servings.
