Basmati Pullao (Cashew And Raisin Pilaf) Recipe
- 1 x Onion, minced
- 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
- 1 c. Basmati rice
- 2 x Cinnamon stick
- 2 x Cloves
- 1 x Bay leaf, crumbled
- 2/3 c. Raw cashews, toasted
- 1/3 c. Raisins
- Cook onion over low heat till tender.
- Add in rice, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf, cashews, raisins.
- Cook for 2 min.
- Add in 2 c. of water; cover.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low.
- Cook for 15 to 20 min.
