Decadent Chocolate Hearts

  1. With a 3 inch heart shaped cookie cutter, or sharp knife, cut each poundcake slice into a heart.
  2. Place 1 strawberry in small bowl.
  3. With fork, mash well.
  4. Fold strawberry mash and red food coloring into whipped topping.
  5. Place a poundcake heart on 2 dessert plates.
  6. Chill 5 minutes.
  7. Spoon strawberry topping mixture onto each heart.
  8. Top with remaining hearts.
  9. Garnish with remaining strawberries.
