Homemade Vegetable Soup Recipe
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 can Veg-All
- 1 can whole tomatoes, minced
- 1 lg. can tomato sauce
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1/2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni (or possibly alphabet noodles)
- 1/4 teaspoon basil
- 1/4 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 sm. onion
- 1 tbsp. butter
- Brown hamburger and drain off excess fat, set aside.
- Prepare elbow macaroni according to package directions.
- Saute/fry onion till transparent in butter.
- Combine onion, tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef bouillon dissolved in 1 c. boiling water, spices and hamburger, in a large pot.
- Simmer over medium heat for 10 min.
- Add in can of Veg-All (including liquid) and elbow macaroni.
- Simmer at least another 10-15 min.
