Easy Pork Rice Bowl in the Microwave
- 75 grams Thinly sliced pork
- 50 grams Onion
- 50 grams Maitake mushrooms
- 2 tbsp Water
- 2 tsp Sake
- 2 tsp Honey
- 2 tsp Usukuchi soy sauce
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Chinese chicken stock powder
- 1 Grated ginger
- 1 Salt
- 1 bowl Hot cooked rice
- 1 Pickled red ginger
- Cut the pork into bite sizes and slice the onion thinly.
- Remove the root ends of the maitake mushrooms and shred
- Combine the A condiments in a heatproof container and arrange in alternate layers of pork, onion and maitake mushrooms.
- Wrap the container with cling film loosely and microwave at 500 W for 2 minutes.
- Take out from the microwave and mix well, then microwave for another 3 minutes.
- Serve hot rice in a bowl and transfer the pork on the rice.
- Top with the pickled red ginger and spoon the leftover gravy on top.
