Japanese Style Matcha Cookies

  1. Combine the ingredients marked with a .
  2. Whip the butter, add sugar and blend, then stir in the egg yolk.
  3. Add match powder, blend until even, form thick bars, wrap in plastic wrap, and let sit in the freezer for over 1 hour.
  4. Cut into 5 mm thick slices and arrange on a parchment sheet set on an oven tray.
  5. Brush with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  6. Bake for 8 minutes at 170C.
  7. Transfer to a cooling rack and let cool.
