Beefy Mushroom & Swiss Burger
- Glazed Mushrooms
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3-3/4 qt. button mushrooms, sliced
- 1-1/2 cups steak sauce
- Burgers
- 24 each ground beef patties (1/3 lb./150 g each) King Sooper's 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 24 each Casino Swiss Slicess (1/2 oz./15 g each)
- 24 each kaiser rolls, split
- 3 cups Kraft BarBQ Sauce
- Glazed Mushrooms: Heat oil in saute pan.
- Add mushrooms; saute until golden brown.
- Stir in steak sauce; cook until sauce is reduced and mushrooms are evenly glazed.
- Keep warm.
- For each serving: Grill 1 beef patty to desired doneness.
- Top with 1 cheese slice; broil until melted.
- Fill 1 roll with cheeseburger, 1/4 cup (50 mL) Glazed Mushrooms and 2 Tbsp.
- (30 mL) steak sauce.
