Open Faced Meatball Parmesan Sammies
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 13 cups Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs
- 1/4 cups Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- 3 Tablespoons Milk
- 1 whole Large Egg
- 1 Tablespoon Grated Fresh Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 4 Tablespoons Freshly Chopped Parsley
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 3 cups Your Favorite Tomato Sauce
- 6 slices Garlic, Texas Toast, Toasted
- 6 slices (1 Oz.) Fresh Mozzarella Or 1 1/2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella
- Combine meatball ingredients; shape into 1-inch balls (golf ball size).
- Brown meatballs in a large skillet over medium heat; drain.
- Wipe skillet clean with a paper towel.
- Add tomato sauce.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring often, 5 minutes.
- Return meatballs to skillet; cover and cook, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes or until meatballs are no longer pink.
- Spoon over toast.
- Place cheese on top and broil for 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted.
