Baked Brie
- 1 package (8 Oz. Package) Baby Brie Round
- 1 whole Puff Pastry Sheet
- Even before you begin, youll need to let the sheet of puff pastry thaw on the counter.
- Take it out of the packaging, and keep it folded on the counter to thaw.
- Itll take about 40 minutes.
- If you start to unfold it and it kind of cracks, let it sit a little longer.
- You could also use some water or an egg wash to seal up any cracks.
- 1.
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- 2.
- Unwrap the brie.
- With a knife, remove the outer casing.
- You can always leave this on, but I dont really like it ... so I take it off.
- 3.
- When the casing is off, place the brie in the center of the puff pastry sheet.
- 4.
- Take each corner of the puff pastry sheet and bring it to the middle of the brie to wrap it.
- Seal up the brie as best you can with the sheet.
- 5.
- Flip it so the folds are facing down and place on a greased cookie sheet.
- You dont have to overly grease the sheet; you can use a non-stick cooking spray.
- Also, if you prefer, you CAN leave the cheese to bake with the folds facing up, but I didnt do that.
- 6.
- Bake for 35 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden brown.
- 7.
- Transfer it carefully to a plate or a serving platter.
- Serve with bagel chips, melba toast, fruit preserves or whatever you please.
- Itll definitely be a crowd pleaser!
