Turkey Sliders with Balsamic Peppers and Feta
- 1 pound Ground Turkey (I Used 85% Fat; It Has More Flavor)
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Coarsely Ground Pepper
- 6 ounces, weight Container Feta Cheese, Crumbled
- 1 package Slider Rolls, 8 Count
- 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
- 1 whole Green Bell Pepper, Sliced Into Strips
- 1/4 cups Water
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
- Start by making the burgers.
- Combine the turkey, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
- Form into eight patties.
- In a medium sized pan over medium high heat, add the burgers.
- After about 1-2 minutes, flip to the other side to brown.
- Reduce heat to medium and cook until done throughout.
- Remove from heat onto a plate and cover with aluminum foil.
- Make the peppers: In the same pan, heat the olive oil over medium-heat and then add the peppers.
- Add the water and cover partially with a lid to steam, stirring every couple of minutes for about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the remaining Worcestershire sauce, butter and vinegar, but dont cover the pan this time.
- Cook until the peppers are softened and the moisture has evaporated.
- Turn the heat off and remove the peppers but dont rinse the pan.
- Blot each side of the rolls in the pan, picking up the remaining butter mixture youll get bits of browned turkey burger in there too.
- Youll like it, I promise.
- Assemble burgers like you normally would a burger, adding the peppers and feta on top.
