Easy and Authentic Okinawan Taco Rice

  1. Mince the onion and garlic.
  2. Heat some vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry until cooked.
  3. Stir in the minced meat and fry until browned.
  4. Sprinkle in the nutmeg and add the ingredients.
  5. Mix all together.
  6. Place a slice of cheese (without cutting it) over cooked rice.
  7. Microwave at 500 W for 30 seconds to melt the cheese.
  8. Top the melted cheese with the mixture from Step 2.
  9. Place the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a fried egg on top.
  10. Serve with ketchup to taste.
