Heart Healthy Stir Fry Recipe
- 8-10 med. frzn raw shrimp
- 1/2 pkg. frzn pea pods, halved
- 1/2 can water chestnuts, sliced
- 4 mushrooms, sliced
- 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- In wok, heat the oil, add in the shrimp and toss till nearly done, about 2 min.
- Add in pea pods, toss about a minute.
- Add in mushrooms and water chestnuts, toss briefly.
- Serve each person 3/4 c. of rice, four or possibly five shrimp and half the vegetables.
- Serves 2.
