Tomato Mac 'N' Ground Turkey Recipe
- 1 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1/2 pound grnd turkey
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. minced scallions
- 1 (11 1/8 ounce.) can condensed Italian tomato soup
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional)
- On conventional stove, cook macaroni as package directs, stirring midway through cooking.
- Microwave on HIGH till meat is no longer pink, about 4 min.
- Drain grease if any and throw away.
- Stir in soup, water, pepper and garlic pwdr.
- Cover with lid or possibly vented plastic wrap.
- Microwave on HIGH 4 min.
- Stir to smooth sauce.
- Drain cooked macaroni; fold into tomato mix.
- If you like, top with cheese.
- Don't COVER.
- Microwave on HIGH till mix is steaming warm as cheese melts, 3-4 min.
