Fresh-Squeezed Lemonade

• 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (from 2 to 3 lemons)
• 1/4 cup Simple Syrup (see Notes) or Mint Syrup
• 1 quart water
• 1 lemon, sliced in thin rounds, for garnish (optional)

1. In a medium pitcher, combine all of the ingredients and stir.
2. Chill and serve ice cold.
