Apricot Pineapple Salad Recipe
- 1 pkt lemon jello
- 1 pkt orange jello
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. apricot and pineapple juice, combined
- 1 can apricot halves, (#2 1/2) cut up and liquid removed
- 1 can (#2) crushed pineapple, liquid removed
- 3/4 c. small marshmallows
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 x egg
- 1 c. apricot and pineapple juice, combined
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. whipped cream grated cheese, optional slivered almonds, optional
- Dissolve jello in 2 c. boiling water.
- Add in remaining ingredients.
- Pour into 9 x 13- inch pan and refrigeratetill hard.
- Topping:Place sugar and flour in saucepan.
- Blend in egg and apricot and pineapple juice.
- Cook till thick and add in butter.
- When cold mix in whipped cream and spread on gelatin.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese or possibly slivered almonds if you like.
