Carrot Bars W/ Cream Cheese Frosting
- 2 cups sugar
- 14 cup canola oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 12 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 cups flour
- 2 (6 ounce) jars carrot baby food (3rd foods)
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 14 cup margarine
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups sugar
- powdered sugar
- BARS:.
- Mix ingredients in order given.
- Pour into greased jelly roll pan.
- Bake @ 350 for 20-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool before frosting.
- FROSTING:.
- Soften cream cheese and margarine.
- Blend with hand mixer and add vanilla.
- Begin adding powdered sugar, add gradually until frosting is to spreading consistancy.
- you may need to add more than 2c.
- Spread over cooled bars.
