Bing Cherry Bar B Que Sauce Recipe
- 5 c. finely minced, pitted Bing cherries
- 1/4 c. light brown sugar
- 1/4 c. dark molasses
- 1/2 c. apple juice
- 1/2 c. grape juice
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1/2 c. paprika
- 1/3 c. garlic salt
- 2 Tbsp. onion salt
- 2 Tbsp. chili pwdr
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Simmer all of the above ingredients on medium heat for 30 min.
- Pour into ovenproof baking dish and bake in a 375 degree oven for approximately 1 hour, till sauce turns thick and rich.
- Use for coating meat, fish or possibly poultry.
- For a deep flavor, marinate meat, fish or possibly poultry for 3 or possibly more hrs in bar-b-que sauce before cooking.
