Simple and Nutritious Tofu Steak with Thick Sauce
- 1 block Firm tofu
- 1 Katakuriko
- 80 grams plus Ground chicken breast
- 4 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Mirin
- 2 tsp Sake
- 1 tsp Katakuriko
- 1 tbsp Water
- Combine the ingredients.
- Cover the tofu with a paper towel and pat-dry.
- Coat all sides of the tofu evenly with katakuriko.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and grill the tofu until both sides are browned.
- Make sure to grill all sides.
- After the tofu is evenly browned, transfer to a serving dish.
- Spread a modest amount of oil in the frying pan.
- Add ground meat and cook as you stir continuously.
- Add the condiments and mix with the meat as you evaporate the alcohol.
- You only need to heat it briefly.
- Dissolve katakuriko in water and drizzle into the pan.
- It's ready to serve when translucent.
- Pour the sauce over the tofu steak and enjoy.
