Avocado Pizza

  2. Roll out the pizza dough and put it onto a pizza pan or stone.
  3. Bake the pizza crust according to recipe or manufacturers direction until the crust is golden brown and a little crispy (remember, the pizza will not be baked again).
  4. Remove from oven.
  5. Brush half of the olive oil over the crust.

  7. Zest the lemon then finely mince the shreds of zest.
  8. Set aside.

  10. Discarding the pit and the skin, thinly slice the avocado.
  11. Arrange the pieces on the top of the pizza crust.
  12. 4.
  13. Sprinkle generously with kosher salt, drizzle the avocado with the remaining olive oil and then squeeze half of the lemons juice over the avocados.
  14. 5.
  15. Sprinkle the lemon zest over the top of the pizza.
  16. Slice and serve immediately!
  17. The avocados will begin to discolor within an hour.
