Avocado Pizza
- 1 whole Batch Of Your Favorite Pizza Dough (medium/large Size Pizza)
- 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Lemon
- 3 Ripe But Firm Avocados
- Kosher Salt To Taste
- 1.
- Roll out the pizza dough and put it onto a pizza pan or stone.
- Bake the pizza crust according to recipe or manufacturers direction until the crust is golden brown and a little crispy (remember, the pizza will not be baked again).
- Remove from oven.
- Brush half of the olive oil over the crust.
- 2.
- Zest the lemon then finely mince the shreds of zest.
- Set aside.
- 3.
- Discarding the pit and the skin, thinly slice the avocado.
- Arrange the pieces on the top of the pizza crust.
- 4.
- Sprinkle generously with kosher salt, drizzle the avocado with the remaining olive oil and then squeeze half of the lemons juice over the avocados.
- 5.
- Sprinkle the lemon zest over the top of the pizza.
- Slice and serve immediately!
- The avocados will begin to discolor within an hour.
