French Onion Pie

  1. prick pastry shell with fork.
  2. and bake at 425 for 12 minutes.
  3. cook bacon until crisp remove and drain on towel, crumble.
  4. cook onions on low heat in bacon fat until soft and brown about 10 minutes.
  5. beat eggs slightly.
  6. blend in sour cream, bacon, onion and chives.
  7. season with salt and pepper.
  8. place in baked shell.
  9. cook at 300 for 30-40 minutes.
