Creamy au Gratin Potatoes

  1. Heat oven to 400F.
  2. Cook chopped onions in medium saucepan sprayed with cooking spray on medium heat 2 min., stirring occasionally.
  3. Add soup and cream cheese; cook and stir 2 to 3 min.
  4. or until cream cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in half the green onions.
  7. Spoon half the potatoes into 8-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; cover with half the cream cheese sauce.
  8. Repeat layers; cover.
  9. Bake 45 min.
  10. or until heated through.
  11. Sprinkle with cheddar.
  12. Let stand, covered, 5 min.
  13. Sprinkle with remaining green onions.
