Tofu Tacos
- 1 block Silken Tofu
- 1/2 packages Taco Seasoning
- 1 box Taco Shells (Or Tostadas)
- Your Favorite Taco Toppings

- Press excess water out of tofu.
- If you dont drain the tofu, the oil will pop in the skillet.
- a) Slit the package and drain water out.
- b) Get a ton of paper towels.
- c) Place paper towel(s) on a cutting board and place tofu on paper towel.
- d) Let tofu sit for 5-10 minutes.
- The amount of water left in the tofu will determine how long this takes.

- Once tofu is drained, put oil in a skillet and heat on medium.
- Meanwhile, bake taco shells according to the box directions.
- 3.
- With tofu, a little goes a long way.
- I normally make this for about 4 people, and I use 1 1/2 cups of tofu.
- So add as much (or as little) crumbled tofu to the skillet as you want.
- Add 1/2 a package of taco seasoning.
- 4.
- Scramble the tofu as you would scramble eggs.
- It doesnt take any longer than 10 minutes for the tofu to be done.
- 5.
- Add tomatoes, lettuce, salsa, cheese, guacamole or whatever else you would to beef tacos.
