Molded Shrimp Loaf Recipe

  2. Dissolve gelatin in the cool water.

  4. Meanwhile, bring tomato soup to a boil in saucepan.
  5. Add in softened gelatin.
  6. Allow mix to cold.
  7. When barely hot, blend in cream cheese.

  9. Stir in celery, green and red pepper, shrimp, mayonnaise, onion, horseradish, capers, warm pepper sauce and salt to taste.

  11. Coat a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with a little mayonnaise or possibly oil.
  12. Pour in mix.
  13. Spread as proportionately as possible.
  14. Cover and refrigerate2-4 hrs or possibly till set.
  15. 5.
  16. Unmold on large platter or possibly serving dish.
  17. Garnish with shredded lettuce and lemon and lime slices.
  18. Serve with crackers or possibly Melba toast, if you wish.
  19. Makes 1 loaf.
