Matt's Italian Thing Recipe
- 2 Chicken Breasts (Plain Breaded)
- Italian Sausage 3 Links (Boiled)
- Pepperoni Slices However many you want
- 2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 28 Oz. Furmanos Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Fennel Seed
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Oregano
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Basil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Rosemary
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Salt
- 1/4 Cup Water
- Eggs For Breading
- 1 lb Penne Noodles
- Chicken: Pour enough oil to cover the bottom of a Frying pan.
- Cover chunks of chicken (we usually do an inch by an inch size chunks) in egg, then cover in Plain breading.
- Fry in frying pan until fully cooked and golden brown.
- Italian Sausage: Cut into small chunks.
- Boil for about 10 mins.
- Directions:
- Put into crock pot Breaded chicken, Italian sausage, and Pepperoni.
- Pour in Furmanoas Crushed Tomatoes (or something similar) and the water.
- Put the Fennel, Oregano, Basil, Rosemary, and Salt in the crock pot.
- Stir until seasons is mixed and crushed tomatoes covers everything.
- Pour a little bit of cheese ( only a sma ll amount) into the crock pot.
- Stir.
- Cover contents with remaining cheese, until the top is completely covered.
- Set on high for 3 hours.
- Serve over Penne noodles.
