Dry Middle East Rice and Bulgur Mix

  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Place in a tightly sealed container and label with name and date.
  3. To Make Dry Mix: In a large saucepan place 1 1/4 cups rice mix, 2 cups liquid (water, broth) Add 1 to 2 tsp butter or olive oil.
  4. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  5. Immediately cover and reduce heat to low or warm.
  6. Simmer for 10 to12 minutes or until all of the liquid is absorbed.
