Flora's 4 ingredient icebox cake
- 1 Family size container of Oreos
- 3 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 16oz container cool-whip
- 1 5.1 oz box of vanilla instant pudding.
- So who doesn't love the simplicity of icebox cake?
- I have to admit desserts that are cool, smooth, and not overly sweet are my faves.
- The problem?
- I had no clue how to make one!
- I thought, recipe?
- We don't need no stickin recipe.
- (btw if you just read that in the voice of Maria from Troop Beverly Hills then we are soul mates and you will def love this) So I birthed this beauty (not really, that would be gross)
- The cast of characters....yep only 4 ingredients!
- First start by making your pudding according to box directions, mine called for three cups, hence the quantity above.
- And if you just looked up, I meant above in the ingredient list silly!
- Now dip you Oreos until just wet in about a cup of milk
- Layer in your pan.
- I used a 13inch pan but then ran out of cookies for my second layer :( so I suggest a 8 inch
- Then top with half the pudding
- Then half the cool whip.
- And yes you can make your own, rub it in my face Martha Stewart!
- Now repeat!
- If you run low on cookies for the second layer just kinda fling them around (shhhh its covered nobody will know.
- wink wink)
- Now sprinkle on some crushed cookie so people kinda know what is under that fluffy cloud of white.
- And chill for at least an hr before serving.
- Cool and refreshing and its cheap and easy
