Easy Chicken and Dumplings

  1. Bring skinless chicken (breast and thigh meat pieces are best) to boil in 4 cups water.
  2. Add seasonings, cover and simmer until meat is white (approximately 1 hour).
  3. Remove chicken to platter to cool.
  4. (Strain broth; if chicken not boned.)
  5. Remove meat from bone and place into broth.
  6. Simmer on low while adding 1 inch torn pieces of biscuit dough into chicken and broth.
  7. After all dough is added, bring to boil, stirring constantly, then cover and place on low heat for 10-15 minutes or until thickened.
