Easy Apple Pie with Puff Pastry

  1. Peel the apple and remove the core.
  2. Slice to 1 cm thick and saute until soft.
  3. Add the butter and keep sauteing.
  4. When the apples are very soft, add the cinnamon sugar in and mix.
  5. Turn the heat off, add the granulated sugar and stir together.
  6. Roll 2 sheets of the defrosted puff pastry into a long rectangle.
  7. In the photo, the left one is rolled out.
  8. Put the apples on the unrolled pastry.
  9. Leave a 1 cm edge around the pastry.
  10. Cut the rolled out pastry puff with a mesh roller.
  11. Cover the pastry on top of the apples, seal the edges by pressing down with a fork.
  12. Then brush the egg mixture on top.
  13. Bake for 15 minutes in preheated oven at 200 degrees C, then turn down to 180 degrees C and bake for 10 minutes.
  14. When it's done, spread jam immediately to make a glaze.
  15. Cut and serve after the pie has cooled completely.
