Jewish - Old Family Recipe - Charoses Sauce

  1. Mix apples & juice.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Combine starch & sugar in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Gradually add water & mix until smooth.
  5. Stir in honey until mixture thickens & is clear.
  6. Cool.
  7. Add apple & nuts to cooled sauce.
  8. Chill.
  9. Just before serving, stir in wine.
