Rice And Fruit

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. In medium saucepan, melt butter.
  3. Stir in onion, green pepper, celery and mushrooms; cover.
  4. Cook 5 minutes or until tender.
  5. Stir in water and chicken bouillon cubes; heat until boiling.
  6. Remove from heat; stir in rice, marjoram, salt and pepper.
  7. Pour into greased 2-quart casserole; cover.
  8. Bake 30 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid absorbed.
  9. Stir in fruit cocktail or peaches.
  10. Bake 15 minutes longer or until fruit is hot.
  11. Makes 8 servings.
