Sausage & Wild Rice Casserole Recipe
- 1 pkg. long grain & wild rice mix
- 1 pound bulk sausage
- 1/2 can sliced mushrooms, liquid removed (optional)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Cook rice as directed.
- (Use a little less water.)
- Cook sausage - drain off juice - stir with fork so it will not be lumpy.
- Combine sausage, wild rice, mushrooms, and soup.
- Put onion rings on top.
- Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees.
- Put onion rings on top the last 10 min of baking.
