Stuffing-Topped Pork & Apple Skillet
- 1/4 cup Kraft Extra Virgin Olive Oil Fig Balsamic Dressing, divided
- 4 boneless pork chops (1 lb./450 g), 1/2 inch thick Safeway 1 lb For $1.99 thru 02/09
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 small Granny Smith apple, sliced
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 pkg. (120 g ) Stove Top Lower Sodium Stuffing Mix for Chicken
- Heat large skillet on high heat.
- Add 2 Tbsp.
- dressing, chops and onions; cook 3 min., stirring onions occasionally.
- Turn chops over; cook 2 to 3 min.
- until chops are done (160 degrees F).
- Transfer chops to plate; cover to keep warm.
- Add apples, remaining dressing, water and sugar to onions in skillet; stir.
- Cook on medium-low heat 3 min., stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, prepare stuffing as directed on package.
- Return chops to skillet; top with apple mixture.
- Spoon stuffing around edge of skillet; cover.
- Cook 5 min.
